ਇਜ਼ਹਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੌਖਾ,
ਪੂਰਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਔਖਾ।
ਚੰਨ ਨੂੰ ਫਰਕ ਨਾ,
ਤਾਰੇ ਦਾ ਟੁੱਟਣਾ ਸੌਖਾ।
ਜਿਸਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਾ,
ਸਰੇਆਮ ਹੋਵੇ ਧੋਖਾ।
ਪਿਤਲ ਦਾ ਪਾਂਡਾ ਹੋਵੇ,
ਵੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਗੇ ਸੋਨਾ।
ਇਜ਼ਹਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੌਖਾ,
ਪੂਰਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਔਖਾ।
ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੈ ਧੋਖਾ।
ਇਸ਼ਕ ਹੈ ਔਖਾ।
